The Hamilton County Animal Shelter project included a new household hazardous waste building and a new animal shelter. The animal shelter is a load-bearing masonry building with long span wood trusses. The structure contains special use HVAC systems to deal with animals. The facility helps control the animal population and find new homes for animals in Hamilton County.
