Envoy Announces Plans for The Highline in Fishers
In August 2021, the City of Fishers’ City Council approved an agreement with Envoy Companies to develop The Highline—a multi-use campus along 106th Street and Lantern Rd.
Since 2012, the City of Fishers has been working to create a sustainable, pedestrian friendly, city core where residents can live, work, dine, and play. Over the last few years, additions have been made to create a thriving community throughout the community, including major developments along I-69 near 106th Street. The Highline is the latest project along 106th Street and transforms 26 acres of vacant land--adding population, commercial space, and active gathering spaces to an under-utilized parcel.
Plans for The Highline, a $52 million development, consist of six buildings in campus-like setting. In total, there will be a 280 multi-family residential apartment homes with roughly 18,600 sq. ft. of restaurant, commercial, and retail space. Additionally, plans include a 4,800 sq. ft. stand-alone restaurant space located near the southeast corner of 106th Street and Kincaid Boulevard.
The development also includes a multi-use pedestrian trail which will link to the City’s robust trail system and an outdoor event area with greenspace and stage. The Highline is slated for completion in August of 2023.
The Highline marks the third successful development for Envoy in the City of Fishers’ redevelopment efforts. The Edge is home to several successful businesses, including The Well Coffee Shop, Progressive Eye Care, and Community Health Network. The Spark Apartments and mixed-use building introduced the micro-retail concept to the small businesses of Fishers and is place where both business and residents thrive.
