Looking Forward to 2018

Looking Forward to 2018

January 8, 2018

After a quiet holiday week at the office with Team Envoy taking a much-needed breather, it feels good to hear the buzzing of employees around the barracks, working diligently for our clients. Last year was an exciting one for Envoy Companies with much to celebrate, but it’s 2018 that has me particularly enthusiastic.

In 2017, our staff grew, we launched a new, modern office concept, we won awards, and we furthered our relationship with the Indiana public safety community. It’s these accomplishments that will propel our 2018. Here’s how:

A thriving team.

In 2017, Envoy welcomed 12 new employees to the team and promoted several others. As Envoy Companies continued to grow, recruiting the best talent in the industry was (and is) a top priority. Envoy welcomed Johnathan White as Vice President of Construction, Tobin Senefeld as Vice President of Project Finance and Acquisition, and promoted Drew Kelly to Vice President of Real Estate--rounding out the executive staff. The team in place is experienced and diverse, but most importantly, they are dedicated. With career postings open and a leadership team eager to impact projects in the communities we serve, Team Envoy will continue to add to our ‘well-oiled machine’ in 2018 ensuring the best in the business for our clients.

Modernizing Indiana’s Firehouses.

In 2017, we celebrated the ribbon cuttings of new, state-of-the-art firehouses in Carmel and Crawfordsville, Indiana. These facilities bring enhanced amenities to our first responders’ home away from home, and showcase the fire house of the future’s functionality.

Building on this success for 2018, Envoy continues to challenge the status quo of these public facilities for the betterment of our communities. For example, in 2018, Envoy will complete construction on a new Sugar Creek Township Fire Station complete with geo-thermal technology—raising the bar in energy-efficient facilities.

Elevating your office.

In May 2017, Envoy broke ground on the first Elevate Office in Brownsburg, Indiana, and launched a line of new office environments for small business owners and entrepreneurs. Soon after, Elevate Office expanded into Ohio with plans to build two additional locations in Hilliard and Westerville.

As municipalities across the Midwest continue to foster a strong eco-system for small business and entrepreneurs, communities like Hilliard and Westerville are taking steps to eliminate common barriers to growth by partnering with Envoy. Elevate Office locations offer modern, vibrant spaces to be inspired and productive. With no-term leases, all-inclusive amenities, and a collaborative community of entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses, Elevate Office will change the way the Midwest supports business in 2018.

While 2017 might be tough to beat, Team Envoy’s enduring commitment to hard work and collaboration in the name of award-winning projects are foundational values that have not only laid the ground work for our success thus far, but support the efforts to build on these successes moving forward. For all of these reasons, I say “Hello 2018!”
